A complete audio solution

A remote input connection implemented through an RJ45 connector allows wall panel connections, expanding the system through remote input modules. Control up to 4 ARES5A sets (8 speakers) with the WP2xx series remote wall mixers.

 

Connect any analogue device

For even greater convenience, when fed by an external power supply (PSD241) these WP2xx series wall panels can also be connected to the line input of an amplifier or pre-amplifier.

 

MTX setup

For this 8-zone solution with MTX88, we can easily convert one of the line inputs to a Bluetooth input using a WP220 and connect it using an ARJ12P junction box. This allows the end-user to select the Bluetooth connection as an audio source for a specific zone via AUDAC Touch™, which is our simplified design, management & system control platform. Possibilities are endless; up to four WP2xx universal wall panels can be connected to a single MTX series audio matrix. Thus, each line input becomes more versatile and flexible with this approach.

COM series setup

For this small- to medium-sized compact commercial solution example with a COM104 or COM108 public address amplifier, we installed a WP2xx series universal wall panel and connected them using an ARJ12P junction box. This ensures the possibility of local and versatile audio input using any WP2xx universal wall panel. The ARJ12P not only carries the stereo audio from any WP2xx to any COM series public address amplifier but also feeds the universal wall panel with 24V using PSD241 in this example.

PRE series setup

For this application, we used a PRE series stereo preamplifier with a WP2xx series universal wall panel and connected them using an ARJ12P junction box. By connecting any WP2xx universal wall panel, we extended the functionality of the PRE series with a peripheral input with mixing functionality, Bluetooth functionality, or both. As a result, a simple PRE series application gains local input flexibility with such an elegant solution, with the addition of ARJ12p and a 24V power supply (PSD241 in this example).
