Associated with the LAP ATEÏS DSP matrix the, the PPM paging microphone console is a man-machine interface which allows paging call. Up to height PPM can be connected to an LAP, either master or slave LAP. The PPM is configurable in the LAP software. The PPM is connected to the matrix with the RS485 bus (data and power) by using the Junction Boxes. All paging parameters needed for site operating can be programmed: zones assigned to the different buttons, group of zones, levels adjustments. The PPM can contain on pre-call chime and one post-call. 8 keys allow zone or group of zones selections. To have more keys, several PPM-KP with 8 keys can be add to the side of the PPM. Each key is associated with a green led called “hold” indicating the current selection and a green “busy” led indicating that the zone is taken. The talk button can be used as push-to-talk or it be locked. It is associated with a green led indicating the state. An all-call button is available. A built-in loudspeaker makes possible to listen the chimes.
